Post Office has appointed The MISSION Group, led by creative Agency krow, as the new lead creative Agency. The win includes strategic, creative and production services associated with owned and paid advertising, social, digital, in-branch, customer experience, PR, web and email for Post Office.
The account will be managed within “Cloak Lane” – an SPV named after the site in the City of London of the first General Post Office in the UK in 1548.
MISSION Agency, krow will lead Cloak Lane working alongside MISSION PR Agency Speed to support on the strategic, creative and production oversight of full-service campaigns and ‘always-on’ communications for the Post Office brand, its products, and services.
The appointment will see MISSION as Post Office’s creative and strategic partner to help drive reappraisal and consideration for the brand in a wider space, beyond the over-the-counter services that customers already associate with Post Office.
James Clifton, CEO at The MISSION Group, commented: “Post Office plays an important part in all our lives – as individuals, in our communities, our businesses and the economy. We are honoured to be appointed by such a unique and emotive brand, and look forward to playing an important role in its future success.”
Natalie Nightingale, Head of Creative & Content at Post Office, added: “We are delighted to be working with The MISSION Group on this wide-ranging brief. We were looking to enhance our strategic, creative and production capabilities and have found that solution in Cloak Lane. We look forward to growing the brand further in partnership with them.”
