SPEED APPOINTED TO POWER BEKO’S UK PR
Beko, the No.1 home appliance manufacturer in both Europe and the UK, has appointed MISSION Group agency, Speed Communications to lead its UK communications programme, spanning both consumer brand PR and a significant trade and corporate communications remit.
A subsidiary of Beko Europe, Beko UK & Ireland’s portfolio spans six of the industry’s leading brands – Beko, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, Indesit, Leisure and Blomberg – which together account for around a third of all large appliances sold in the UK.
Speed will lead a fully-integrated, always-on trade and corporate communications programme designed to position Beko as the authoritative voice in the UK home appliance sector. This brief will include managing a proactive trade press office, agenda-setting thought leadership, strategic policy commentary and creating compelling case studies – alongside a targeted repositioning of the brand for the housebuilder audience. The programme reflects the scale and ambition of the business, and will reinforce its authority, influence and share of voice across the industry.
Together, the partnership marks a significant step in elevating Beko’s profile across the full communications landscape – from consumers to trade stakeholders and policy influencers.
