1st Line IT Support Engineer. Norwich

The IT Team


The IT Team are a part of the centralised shared services based across several locations in the UK, working predominantly onsite with Agencies. The IT team comprises of ten specialists working together across the different Mission brands.


The Role


Working alongside an IT Manager out of one of our Norwich based offices, this role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to grow and expand current knowledge. You will be working in an IT Helpdesk environment, Monitoring, diagnosing, investigating & resolving incident tickets in accordance with priority whilst providing consistent and high-quality service through first line support both onsite and remotely via remote assistance software.


Experience of both PC and Macs would be beneficial as you will be setting up new users on both as well as supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MacOS Desktops.


A key element of the role will be to fault find on laptops and desktops, diagnosing and resolving technical issues. You should be friendly and positive, with a can-do personality, being able to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.


IT and technology are your passion, and this role will help you to develop your skills


What Will I Need?


Knowledge and experience in the following:


  • Office 365 Administration
  • Office 365 Suite
  • Windows 10
  • Mac OS
  • Active Directory / Group Policies
  • Basic networking skills
  • Knowledge of mobile devices including Android and iOS devices.

Plus good organisational and Administration skills, the ability to work under pressure and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
