//Pret A Manger Scoops Brand of the Year at Masters of Marketing Awards

Pret A Manger, long-standing Client of the missiontm Agency bigdog, has been awarded Brand of the Year at the Masters of Marketing Awards, beating off competition from major brands including Deliveroo, Facebook, Lidl and Snapchat to win the coveted prize.

bigdog was invited to accept the award alongside Pret A Manger in recognition of the input that the Agency has had working in partnership with the brand over the past 14 years.

Pret A Manger has enjoyed considerable success in recent years, increasing sales and profit by 13.9% and 14.5% respectively in 2015 and opening 36 new stores. Its success is widely attributed to an alignment with good causes, food innovation and customer conversations.

The Brand of the Year award category is unique as brands are nominated by their peers, including the audience of the Festival of Marketing, Marketing Week and Econsultancy, rather than entering the awards themselves.

bigdog is now working with Pret A Manger’s Marketing Director, Mark Palmer to arrange a business event in November at which he will discuss their longstanding and successful partnership.
