A world-class creative partnership with the School of Communication Arts

We are excited to announce that themission is entering into a new partnership with the world-renowned School of Communication Arts (SCA).

The relationship will see students from the highly successful SCA working on live briefs across our Agencies, gaining valuable skills and experience and receiving advice from experienced professionals within the Group through a mentoring programme. Our businesses will in turn benefit from a pool of creative, young minds bringing their insight to our Client accounts.

The SCA, seen by many as the world’s finest portfolio school, offers an alternative route into careers in advertising and communications, taking students from diverse backgrounds in a hands-on alternative to the traditional university route. A social enterprise, it is supported by over 100 Agencies in various ways. Its success is evident in the fact that around 80% of student’s secure a job at a top 100 Agency within six months of completing the course.

Marc Lewis, Dean of the School of Communication Arts explained: "This new relationship between themission and School of Communication Arts is obviously a huge statement of where creativity is going. Partnering with an Agency Group the size of themission opens doors for our students to work in some great Agencies, for incredible Clients, inside and outside of traditional advertising. In addition, geographical reach will help us to send the very best talent to locations such as Belfast, Leicester, Bristol and Norwich amongst many areas across the UK.

“This is such a big deal for diversity, and for a generation who are looking for a work/life balance with the possibility of owning a home near to where they work outside of London. If I was a student at SCA, I would be licking my lips at the prospect of getting noticed by the talent scouts within themission network."

As a Group, we recognise the benefits of building a diverse workforce and the importance of developing the next generation of talent, Dylan Bogg, Executive Director at themission said: “We see our partnership as a great fit. For us, it means access to a pool of exceptional talent whilst SCA students gain valuable experience and insight. We’re all really looking forward to getting involved with what already looks like an exceptional group of students.”
