Pre-Close Update

The Mission Marketing Group plc ('themission®') has today issued a trading update ahead of its close period.

Overall trading remains in line with the Board's expectations and the comments made at the time of the flotation of themission® on AIM in April of this year. Big Communications and Fuse Digital continue to perform well with high profile television and on-line campaigns for King of Shaves and WKD. The addition to the Group of Bray Leino, which was acquired in April, is already delivering the anticipated benefits of increased scale, an extended service offer and greater geographical presence, which are all coming through as expected. New assignments from existing clients choosing to leverage the Group's new specialist capabilities complemented an encouraging new business performance in PR, advertising and learning divisions.

themission® with its multi-discipline spread, strong national and regional reach and efficient cost structure is positioned to outperform a somewhat subdued UK advertising and marketing services sector. Looking forward, the Group's strategy is to continue to grow its existing businesses organically and to develop rapidly through the acquisition of marketing agencies across the UK.
