Mission agency Fuse Digital wins GRAMIA award for Lucozade work
24th July 2008
The Mission Marketing Group plc (‘themission®`), the national marketing communications and advertising group, today announces that its digital marketing agency, Fuse Digital, has been awarded a GRAMIA award for its work on the launch of Lucozade's new drink Lucozade Alert. Lucozade Alert aims to ‘sharpen your focus' and is targeted to ‘switch on your mind, maintain your alertness and improve your focus'.
The Grocery Advertising and Marketing Industry Awards (GRAMIA) were launched in 1994 and recognise exceptional performance in the highly competitive FMCG market, rewarding both client and agency for creative excellence and achievement. The awards encompass all advertising and marketing in the FMCG industry - from TV and cinema to radio and field marketing.
The team at Fuse worked on the launch, digital marketing and the online campaign entitled ‘Switch on' which was supported by The Metro newspaper. Daily brain teaser puzzles and questions printed in The Metro drove participants to the website to compete for prizes by demonstrating who was the most ‘alert'. The innovative online environment enabled friends to challenge each other as well as competing on a wider scale with all participants. The site can be viewed at www.lucozade.com/alert
Iain Ferguson, CEO of themission, commented:
"This is a great win for Fuse recognising their innovative creative thinking to drive interest in, and generate awareness of, this new product. The successful campaign drew on skills across the agency and puts them in a position to be awarded a Diamond GRAMIA as overall category winner to be announced at the awards ceremony in October."
