Integrated communications agency Big, part of The Mission Marketing Group (the missiontm), has picked up the Cream Midlands 2011 Grand Prix award.
The region’s most prestigious creative award recognised the agency’s outstanding creativity for its promotional work with DriveMyCarHome.co.uk – an innovative service that enables people to get themselves and their car home safely after a drink.
The campaign ‘We Make Your Car Your Cab’, consisted of magnetic taxi-sign tent cards being strategically placed on top of parked cars in key geographical areas with high footfall.

Upon returning to their cars, the owners of these temporary ‘taxis’ were presented with a short explanation of how motorists, having had a drink, can book themselves a personal driver to take them and their car safely home. The driver arrives on a unique foldable scooter, which is stashed in the boot of their own car for the duration of the journey.
The award was presented to Big at the climax of the Cream Midlands 2011 event at The Jam House in Birmingham on 23 November.
