Mission agencies score highly in recent industry awards

The Mission Marketing Group plc ('themission®'), the national advertising and marketing group, announces recent industry award wins for its agencies (Bray Leino, Big Communications and Fuse Digital) at The Fresh Awards, The B2B Marketing Awards, The Cream Awards National Final and The Fresh Digital Awards.

Out of 300 entries at The Cream Awards, which recognise creative excellence in the English regions, Bray Leino won one gold, two silvers and a bronze award for recent campaigns. Bray Leino was awarded Gold and Silver for Best Consumer Press Ad for the "Gumball" and "Truck" ad's for Food from Spain; Silver for Best Campaign for work on Food from Spain and Bronze in the Best Photography category for the "Spanish Oranges" campaign for Foods from Spain.

Big Communications' work for client WKD dominated the outdoor categories with Gold for the 48 or 96 sheet poster category for WKD's "Added Colouring" and Silver for WKD's "Carefully matured" posters. In the category for Unusual Size or Special Build WKD's "Bobby Dazzler" poster was awarded Gold; Gold was also awarded to Big for its work for WKD in the Outdoor Poster Campaign category. Big's work for WKD was also recognised in the TV sector with Gold and Silver awards for WKD's "Bath time" and "Hat Trick" commercials and Silver for WKD's TV campaign.

Fuse Digital were awarded Bronze for its Viral Marketing Campaign for WKD "Max your motor".

These awards followed on from themission agency successes at the regional Fresh Awards in association with Campaign Magazine and MediaWeek which saw Big Communications win three Gold, seven Silvers, four Bronze and the evening's advertising grand prix award for WKD "Pub footy".

At the B2B Marketing Awards Big Communications' work for client Grant Thornton was proclaimed winner of Best B2B Brand Awareness Campaign. Big's "Think beyond convention. Think beyond the Big 4" advertising campaign is designed to challenge the market to look beyond the Big 4 accountancy firms when choosing a financial adviser.

Despite tough national competition Fuse Digital had a very good evening at the most recent set of awards, The Fresh Digital Awards, picking up awards in two categories, Freshest Viral Campaign for "WKD: Max Your Motor 2" and Freshest Brand-Building Using Digital Channels for wkd.co.uk.
