21st August 2007
The Mission Marketing Group plc ('themission®'), the national marketing communications and advertising group, announces that Fuse Digital, its Leicester based agency, has strengthened its senior management team in a move designed to continue to drive the digital business forward.
The new-look three-strong senior management team will be led by Managing Director Gareth Minor, 38. Until recently Gareth held a similar position with Lappset UK, a Finnish-owned playground equipment manufacturer. Before that, as well as completing an MBA at Cranfield School of Management, Gareth was responsible for European Solution Engineering for WAM!NET Inc, a media content delivery company. In his new role, Gareth will have responsibility for the day to day running of Fuse Digital as well as continuing the market beating growth being posted by the company.
He is joined by new Client Services Director Michael Hoskinson, 30, previously a Regional Director with recruitment advertising agency Barkers. Michael has been brought in to manage strategic relationships with key clients.
Fuse Digital's founder and former Managing Director Simon Davies, who engineered the strengthening of his senior management team, has returned to his original role of Creative Director, where he will be focusing his energies on working with the Fuse Digital studio staff to produce the high-level creative work for which they are known in the industry.
These appointments follow the arrival of nine other new starters in recent weeks. The company now employs 23 people in total - over double the number a year ago. To accommodate the huge growth in staff numbers Fuse Digital will be moving to a purpose-built, state-of-the-art design centre within the grounds of sister company's headquarters, Big Communications.
Commenting on the new arrivals Simon Davies, founder and Creative Director at Fuse Digital said: "I am confident that with the new senior team now in place, we are in a much better position to meet the needs of our clients while at the same time continuing to produce first-class work for which we are known in this challenging and ever changing industry."
Iain Ferguson, Chief Executive of themission said: "These new hires illustrate our continued investment in attracting the best talent available and our commitment to provide clients with the very best skills in digital and on-line communications. These senior appointments will boost Fuse's award winning creative output and will ensure Fuse retains its position as one of the country's leading digital creative agencies."
