Big Communications produces results for Grant Thornton
8th April 2008
Leading advertising agency Big Communications has delivered a real result for accountancy firm Grant Thornton with the creation of its new annual report.
The 96-page publication, entitled ‘Our Book of Secrets', is already being hotly tipped to win a host of awards since it was published in late March. Printed on recyclable paper, using environmental inks, it looks set to transform the way in which professional services deliver their end of year figures to their stakeholders in future - with its clever mix of stories, advice and financial figures.
Big Communications has worked with the leading accountancy group since 2004, at both a strategic and creative delivery level. In 2006, Grant Thornton was awarded the ‘Best Brand Awareness Campaign' by B2B Marketing Magazine for a campaign devised by Big Communications.
The ‘Book of Secrets' was produced by a team at Big Communications led by Account Director Laura Bent and Alison Mason, Account Manager. Creative input was provided by James Cross and Tim Heywood, based on an idea from Paul Wallett and Steve Smith.
Although primarily for updating stakeholders, the Report will also be used for marketing as well as recruitment purposes, as the accountants seek to attract new talent into its business. This is the first time Big Communications has produced the Annual Report for Grant Thornton.
Explains Laura Bent: "Grant Thornton were keen from the outset for their Annual Report to have ‘award-winning' potential. We believe we have really delivered on this front and I am sure, given the feedback we've received so far, that it will become the benchmark for professional services firms in future."
Adds Victoria Coe, Head of Marketing Services at Grant Thornton: "The Annual Report is our main platform for communicating with stakeholders, and it is vital therefore, that we get it right. Big Communications have worked extremely hard with us to make this happen and we couldn't be happier with the ‘Book of Secrets'."
